    • IHC image of CSB-PA008684LA01HU diluted at 1:600 and staining in paraffin-embedded human kidney tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

    The FIS1 antibody is a premium polyclonal antibody suitable for the detection of the human FIS1 protein. It is available as the unconjugated IgG isoform. This FIS1 antibody is raised in the rabbit against a partial recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 1-122 of human FIS1. This FIS1 antibody is purified by protein G affinity chromatography with a purity of up to 95%. And it is recommended for use in ELISA, IHC, and IF applications.

    Its target protein FIS1 mainly functions to regulate mitochondrial fission, morphology, and dynamics. It is involved in the recruitment of DRP1 to the mitochondrial outer membrane and plays a crucial role in mitochondrial quality control and energy metabolism. Dysregulation of FIS1 can contribute to mitochondrial dysfunction and various diseases.

    Involved in the fragmentation of the mitochondrial network and its perinuclear clustering. Plays a minor role in the recruitment and association of the fission mediator dynamin-related protein 1 (DNM1L) to the mitochondrial surface and mitochondrial fission. Can induce cytochrome c release from the mitochondrion to the cytosol, ultimately leading to apoptosis. Also mediates peroxisomal fission.
