转铁蛋白(Transferrin,TF)是一种重要的β-球蛋白,主要承担在血浆中结合并转运铁离子的职责。其结构为单链糖蛋白,分子量约为7.7万,含糖量约6%,具备可逆地结合多价离子的特性,特别是铁离子,每分子能结合两个三价铁原子,从而有效实现铁离子在体内的转运。功能上,转铁蛋白不仅以TRF-Fe3+的复合物形式将铁输送至骨髓供成熟红细胞生成,还可在铁过剩时与铁离子结合形成稳定复合物,防止铁毒性积累和氧化损伤。此外,它参与调节体内铁离子的平衡,确保细胞和组织对铁的需求得到满足,从而维持铁稳态。值得一提的是,转铁蛋白通过与转铁蛋白受体(TfR)结合,可能激活涉及细胞增殖、分化、凋亡及免疫反应的信号通路,为肿瘤细胞诊疗提供了新的靶向介质。然而,转铁蛋白信号通路的详细机制仍需深入研究以全面理解其在生物体中的作用。
