  • 产品描述:

This CRP monoclonal antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool for the detection of human CRP protein. It is generated by fusing mouse spleen cells with myeloma cells to produce hybridomas that produce the desired antibody. The mouse is immunized with the human CRP protein. The resulting CRP monoclonal antibody is purified using protein G affinity chromatography to achieve high purity (95%+). It can be used to recognize the human CRP protein in ELISA and IHC applications.

CRP is produced by the liver in response to inflammation in the body. Its main function is to bind to certain molecules on the surface of damaged cells or bacteria, and then activate the immune system to help clear the damaged cells or bacteria. CRP levels can be used as a non-specific marker of inflammation and infection in the body, and elevated CRP levels are associated with a range of conditions such as infections, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular disease.

  • 功能:
Displays several functions associated with host defense: it promotes agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. Can interact with DNA and histones and may scavenge nuclear material released from damaged circulating cells.
