重组人线粒体鸟氨酸转氨基甲酰基酶（rhOTC）是一种关键酶类，具有典型的催化活性中心和结合位点结构。其主要功能是在尿素循环中催化鸟氨酸与氨基甲酰磷酸反应生成瓜氨酸，从而维持体内氮代谢平衡和防止氨中毒。rhOTC与其他尿素循环酶类协同作用，共同维持尿素循环的正常进行。
