Map2k2

MAP2K2,即丝裂原活化蛋白激酶激酶2,别名MEK2、MKK2等。它是一种双特异性蛋白激酶,属于MAP激酶激酶家族成员,由人体细胞自身的基因编码。MAP2K2在细胞的增殖、分化、细胞粘附和转录等多种生物学过程中发挥着重要作用。其作用机制主要是通过接受上游RAF激酶的磷酸化激活信号,进而对下游的ERK1/2(胞外信号调节激酶1/2)进行磷酸化,从而激活ERK1/2作为转录调节因子 。MAP2K2在生物学上的意义非常重大,它参与调控的信号通路是细胞增殖、应激、炎症、分化、功能同步化、转化、凋亡等信号转导通路的共同交汇通路之一。MAP2K2的活性对于细胞对多种生长因子、细胞因子、射线、渗透压等刺激的响应至关重要。此外,MAP2K2的异常激活与多种癌症的发生发展有关,其抑制或降解也参与了某些病原体如耶尔森菌和炭疽的致病机制 。
