MLST8

MLST8,即哺乳动物雷帕霉素靶蛋白(mTOR)相关蛋白LST8,别名包括G蛋白β亚基样、GbetaL、GBL、Lst8、Pop3。它是一种在细胞内广泛表达的蛋白质,最高水平在骨骼肌、心脏和肾脏中。MLST8是mTORC1和mTORC2复合体的共有组成成分,对细胞生长和存活响应营养和激素信号的调节起着关键作用。MLST8的作用机制涉及到它在mTOR复合体中的功能。在mTORC1复合体中,MLST8与mTOR直接相互作用,增强其激酶活性,参与调节蛋白质合成、细胞生长和自噬等过程。在mTORC2复合体中,MLST8同样发挥重要作用,mTORC2对Rapamycin不敏感,参与胰岛素-PI3K信号通路的响应并调控细胞增殖。此外,MLST8还参与冠状病毒复制的调控,通过mTORC1信号通路影响病毒复制,敲除mLST8可以抑制mTORC1信号通路,进而激活自噬,抑制冠状病毒的复制。
