Ly75

Ly75, also called lymphocyte antigen 75, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LY75 gene. it acts as an endocytic receptor to direct captured antigens from the extracellular space to a specialized antigen-processing compartment (By similarity) and causes reduced proliferation of B-lymphocytes. Note that, recently, LY75 has been designated CD205 (cluster of differentiation 205). CD205 is also known as DEC-205.
