L1CAM

L1细胞黏附分子(L1 cell adhesion molecule,L1CAM)是免疫球蛋白超家族中的一种神经黏附蛋白,以膜蛋白和游离蛋白的形式存在。L1CAM广泛存在于神经中枢系统,在神经系统发育过程中起着重要作用。此外,L1CAM作为一种神经粘附分子,可以调节肿瘤细胞的生长和迁移。大量研究表明,许多类型的癌细胞若要成功转移至其他正常器官内,L1CAM分子必不可少。通常,正常的健康组织不会产生L1CAM,但晚期癌症常常会伴随着L1CAM的产生。L1CAM抑制剂可阻滞体外肿瘤细胞的增殖和迁移并增加肿瘤细胞的化疗敏感性。 相关数据表明,患有肿瘤的小鼠使用L1CAM抗体治疗,可抑制肿瘤的扩散。因此,L1CAM在肿瘤生成和作为抗癌治疗靶点上都有重要意义。
