克隆
将一个基因从一个生物体中复制出来,然后将其插入到另一个生物体的细胞中,使得新的生物体也能够表达这个基因。基因克隆通常通过利用DNA重组技术来实现,包括PCR、限制性内切酶消化、连接酶反应等方法。
