    We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

  • 功能：
    Probable proto-oncogene that functions in the epidermal growth factor receptor/EGFR signaling pathway. Activates both RAS/MAPK and PI3K/AKT/TOR signaling cascades downstream of EGFR. Required for the RAS/MAPK signaling cascade activation upon EGFR stimulation, it also activates both signaling cascades independently of EGFR activation.

    1. Results show that FAM83A is overexpressed in HER2-positive breast cancer (HER2+ BC) and in trastuzumab-resistant breast cancer cell lines. Furthermore, knockdown of FAM83A expression severely inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis in a panel of HER2+ BC cells. FAM83A could serve as a target for inhibiting the growth of all HER2+ BCs, including those that are resistant to trastuzumab. PMID: 28463969
